The initiative aims to make electric mobility more accessible to a broader customer base. The Brand Group Core, led by SEAT & CUPRA, has pooled the expertise of its brands to create four distinct models with a shared technological foundation, targeting the growing European small car segment.

Production of the EUCF models is based in Spain, with the CUPRA Raval and Volkswagen ID. Polo being manufactured in Martorell, and the Škoda Epiq and Volkswagen ID. Cross produced in Pamplona. This strategy leverages common components and technologies, with over 80 percent of parts being identical across the models.

The project is part of a significant investment in electric mobility in Spain, with SEAT & CUPRA, Brand Group Core, PowerCo, and partners investing ten billion euros. This includes investments in battery cell and battery system production facilities.

Customer interest in the Electric Urban Car Family has been strong, with nearly 150,000 orders received even before deliveries have begun. This response indicates a demand for affordable electric vehicles that combine modern technology with practical everyday use and distinct brand identities.
