Montréal Metropolitan Airport (YHU) has deployed 120 electric vehicle (EV) chargers, with an additional 48 units slated for installation. The chargers, identified as Wallbox Pulsar Pro models, are available for employees, visitors, and airport operations.
Located in Longueuil, Quebec, the airport, also known as MET, is integrating these charging points across its parking facilities, which offer over 2,600 spaces. The expansion aims to support the growing adoption of electric vehicles.
The installation incorporates Wallbox's Power Sharing technology to manage electricity distribution among the chargers, optimizing the use of the airport's electrical capacity. Centralized management and payment processing are handled by Foresta's software.
Integration of the charging infrastructure was coordinated by edp électrique, with EG Électrique and Westburne also participating in the project. Specific charging speeds and pricing for the new chargers have not yet been announced, nor has a completion date for the upcoming 48 units.
