Sunderland AFC has officially opened a significant electric vehicle (EV) charging hub at the Stadium of Light. The facility, developed in partnership with RAW Charging, is being presented as the largest public EV charging hub in the north-east region.
The new hub boasts a total of 20 charging bays designed for ultra-rapid charging. Of these, 16 bays are rated to deliver 150 kW of power.
An additional four bays offer even faster charging capabilities, with a maximum output of 300 kW. This expansion aims to support the growing adoption of electric vehicles in the area.
